Viettel Hybrid Connect
A cloud network solution that enables the setup of specialized network connections from on-premises locations to Viettel IDC's cloud.
Viettel Hybrid Connect is a service that allows customers to establish private connections from on-site network systems—such as data centers, offices, and colocation facilities—to Viettel IDC Cloud services or between different cloud services. It ensures stable connections, increases bandwidth throughput, reduces network costs, and provides a more consistent network experience compared to Internet-based connections.
Viettel IDC collaborates with Vietnam's leading network operators, including Viettel, VNPT, FPT, and CMC, to deliver connections from customers' on-site networks in Vietnam to Viettel Cloud services. In the future, this service will expand to support connections to customer locations internationally and services hosted on other public clouds, such as AWS, Azure, and Google.
Viettel Hybrid Connect is compatible with various Viettel IDC services, including Viettel Cloud Server (VCS), Viettel Virtual Private Cloud (vVPC), Viettel Dedicated Private Cloud (vDPC), Viettel Cloud GPU (VCG), Viettel Cloud Camera, and Viettel Cloud Object Storage.
The service supports connections between Viettel IDC Cloud and customer locations or branches, using connection models such as point-to-point and Hub-and-Spoke.

Viettel Hybrid Connect provides a private and reliable end-to-end connection from the customer's office to the Viettel IDC Cloud or between cloud services located in the same data center or across different data centers.

With a flexible 1Gbps/10Gbps connection interface, customers can easily select an option based on their specific needs.
Diverse connection bandwidth
With connection bandwidths ranging from 100Mbps to 10Gbps, Viettel Hybrid Connect enables customers to connect at high speeds with stable quality.
Prevent MAC address spoofing
The service supports customers in configuring protection against MAC address spoofing attacks.
Multi-service, multi-cloud connection
Viettel Hybrid Connect connects multiple services and network providers with coverage across local and different geographical areas.

Multi-Cloud Connection

A Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection is a private tunnel connection among private networks or single users via the Internet environment. Therefore, it is hard to guarantee the quality (latency, packet loss,...), bandwidth connected when there is any change in the routing or data transmission method.
Viettel Hybrid Connect service ensures the level of bandwidth connected that customers have used, optimizing the quality of the connection while ensuring the lowest latency and the lowest packet loss rate.
Viettel Hybrid Connect is compatible with almost all Cloud services of Viettel IDC:
- Viettel Cloud Server (VCS)
- Viettel Virtual Private Cloud (vVPC)
- Viettel Dedicated Private Cloud (vDCP)
- Viettel Cloud GPU (VCG)
In the near future, this service is only available for the connection between Viettel's Cloud to the on-premises network of customers located in Vietnam. For the next phase, Viettel IDC will expand this service to support connecting to the on-premises network of customers located internationally, or customers who use cloud services from AWS, Azure, etc.
To serve the needs of all customers, Viettel Hybrid Connect service supports 1G, 10G connection interface. At the same time, it also diversifies the bandwidths supplied (10M, 20M, 50M, etc.) to closely meet the needs of customers.
Viettel IDC has built Use cases which links from a single connection model to a high standby running model so as to provide the best advice to customers.
Deployment Models
The single connection model between the server system of customers renting the Viettel Colocation service from Viettel IDC who need to connect to Viettel IDC’s Cloud services.
The redundant connection model between the server system of customers renting the Viettel Colocation service from Viettel IDC who need to connect to Viettel IDC’s Cloud services.
The single connection model between the on-premise network of customers requiring connectivity to Viettel IDC’s Cloud services, utilizing optical fiber connections (Layer 1) within the service provider’s fiber optic network system.
